Bridge Academy thanks dinner sponsors

Bridge Academy recently held their fifth annual Thanksgiving dinner for our students and their families. We had over 160 people attend the event this year. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors who make this event a successful one year-after-year. We also need to thank our student council, as well as parents and all staff members, who helped with setting up and cleaning up.

A very sincere thank you to: Con Agra; Costco; Dart Container; Doug Vollmer; Falls Brand; Great Harvest Bread Company; Pepsi Cola; and Wills Inc. Also thank you to Morgan and Steve Parks and Mike McArthey for providing entertainment.

Your generosity is greatly appreciated. This is the most anticipated event for Bridge Academy each year and we could not do it without the support of our great sponsors. Thank you.

Kimberly Nurseries thanks Magic Valley community

On behalf of our dedicated co-sponsors, we would like to thank the amazingly generous Magic Valley residents who came out to Kimberly Nurseries on Nov. 24 for the 27th annual Christmas in the Nighttime Sky event. Attendees enjoyed a great evening of Santa Claus; Christmas music — both canned and live; warm bonfires; an Idaho baked-potato-and-chili dinner; and, of course, an awesome fireworks display choreographed to music on KOOl 96.5 radio.

All told — through the generosity of the Magic Valley — we had over 3,400 people attend who brought with them 2,346 toys and 23 new bikes! All these toys will be given to kids who need them right here in the Magic Valley area, making their Christmas so much brighter.

Of course all of this could not be accomplished without the willing help of our wonderful co-sponsors: Hub International Insurance; Idaho Central Credit Union; KMVT/Gray Television; KOOl 96.5 Radio; Snake Harley-Davidson; Swire Coca-Cola; and Tradesmen Staffing.

Thank you again, Magic Valley, for your continued support of this long-standing tradition ... now let the Christmas spirit begin!
