If you are an honest American, listen up. Many are concerned about Russia interfering in our elections. Turns out we should be more concerned with gerrymandering and the electoral system. Look gerrymandering up in the dictionary; it is scary! Definition is "to divide a voting area unfairly, so as to give one political party an advantage." The key word here is "unfairly!" Turns out this has been happening for a long time, and voters are either unaware or are uncaring as long as their party wins.

When five presidential candidates win more Americans votes yet lose the presidential election, I am thinking that is just ... just wrong in a supposed democracy. Andrew Jackson 1824, Samuel Tilden 1876, Grover Cleveland 1886, Al Gore 2000 and Hillary Clinton 2016 all received more votes from the American voters than their opponents, yet lost the elections due to the electoral method of elections and gerrymandering. I say the electoral college and gerrymandering need to be put out to pasture and get back to the popular vote. It is the only way we can keep the cheating, yeah I said cheating, in check. By the way, the only five who have lost the elections in this way were Democrats — 500,000 by Gore and 3 million by Clinton. Seems gerrymandering has caught on quite well and will only get worse as time goes on. We frown on our kids cheating on homework, yet ignore it in politics. Shame!
