Athletes taking a knee during the national anthem and the Pledge of Allegiance is very disrespectful. I do not like it, I do not think that the veterans who fought for them would like that. People lost friends, dads, and mom. I am a Boy Scout so I have learned to respect the flag by standing up, standing at attention, and saluting.

The people who are kneeling during the national anthem should stand during the Pledge of Allegiance and national anthem or they sit out the entire game. That way people who are watching will ask why the people did this. That way would be better in my opinion. To demonstrate that they are upset about something in the nation. Plus, they would attract more attention because the Pledge of Allegiance and national anthem take up only a little bit but a game lasts a long time.
