Tough Enough To Wear Pink was a huge success at the Twin Falls County Fair/Magic Valley Stampede. Those attending the Thursday rodeo were entered in a drawing for a Tuff Spa and had the opportunity to witness a special balloon release by breast cancer survivors. There was also a raffle for a Vespa motor scooter.

None of this would have been possible without the help of some very special folks. Snake River Pool and Spa, KTFT 7 and Mix-103 teamed up to sponsor Tough Enough To Wear Pink’s efforts to raise money for St. Luke’s 900 Women s project, which makes it possible for ladies that could not otherwise afford a mammogram an opportunity to have a breast screening. Because of their efforts, public awareness of breast cancer is higher than ever.

The combined effort of these sponsors, our other supporters, our committee, our friends from St. Luke’s, our volunteers and the giving folks from the Magic Valley enabled the Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign to raise more than $17,000 for the 900 women’s project.
