JEROME — A 26-year-old woman was seriously injured Monday night when she was struck by a car near Jerome High School.
According to the Idaho State Police, Consuelo Bach, of Jerome, was walking eastbound on State Highway 25 at about 8:35 p.m. when she was struck by a car driven by Kylie D. Hemmert, 28, who was driving eastbound.
Bach was transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. She was in critical condition, as of Tuesday morning.
State Highway 25 was blocked in both directions for about two hours.
The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
