TWIN FALLS — If you’re a veteran looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just dessert this Saturday, we’ve got you covered.

Many restaurants are celebrating Veterans Day by giving veterans and active duty military members free food or drinks. This list is by far not complete and focuses on larger chains, so don’t forget to check local businesses as well.

All deals are for veterans and active duty military with proof of service, unless noted otherwise.

Free oil change

Jiffy Lube of Twin Falls is honoring veterans and active-duty military by offering a free Jiffy Lube Signature Service oil change from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Veterans Day, at three Twin Falls Jiffy Lube locations:

2362 Addison Ave. E.

Receive a complimentary oil change with up to five quarts of featured oil. Proof of military service will be required.

Cactus Petes offers free dinner

Cactus Petes Resort Casino in Jackpot, Nev., will offer veterans and active duty military personnel a complimentary dinner at its award-winning buffet on Friday, the federal observance of Veterans Day.

Dinner will be offered from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. A veteran’s card or valid military ID must be presented to the buffet cashier to qualify for the complimentary meal. For information, visit cactuspetes.com.

Applebee’s: Get a free entree at participating locations. Items vary by location.

Bakers Square: Get a choice of buttermilk pancakes, french toast or a Belgian waffle at participating locations.

Bandanas Bar-B-Q: Veterans eat free on Saturday, up to a $10 value.

Bar Louie: Bar Louie is offering a free flat bread or burger on Saturday.

Bob Evans: A variety of select items, including french toast, pancakes and country-fried steak, will be available free for vets and active duty military members.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Get a free small order of traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

Chili’s Grill & Bar: Get a free meal on Saturday (meals vary by location).

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: The restaurant is raising money for Operation Homefront as well as giving out free slices of its double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake.

Denny’s: Active, inactive and retired military personnel can get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon on Friday, (not Veterans Day, which is Nov. 11).

Golden Corral: Anyone who has served in the military can get a free dinner on Monday, Nov. 13 (not Veterans Day, which is Nov. 11).

Hooters: Get a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu. Items include wings, a Hooters Burger and a buffalo chicken salad or sandwich. A drink purchase is required.

IHOP: Get a free order of red, white and blue pancakes on Friday, Nov. 10 (not Veteran’s Day). IHOP will also donate $1 toward Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, an organization that provides college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty, for each order of red, white and blue pancakes purchased during November.

Krispy Kreme: Get a free doughnut and small coffee, no purchase or ID required.

Little Caesars Pizza: Get a free $5 hot-and-ready lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

LongHorn Steakhouse: Get a free dessert or appetizer (no other purchase required). Those dining with the veteran or active duty military member will also get 10 percent off their bill.

Olive Garden: Get a free entree from a special Veterans Day menu.

Perkins Restaurant & Bakery: Get a free Magnificent Seven meal, which includes two eggs, two pieces of bacon and three pancakes.

Red Lobster: Get a free appetizer or dessert.

Red Robin: Get a free Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries.

Ruby Tuesday: Get a free appetizer.

Starbucks: Get a free tall brewed coffee.

Texas Roadhouse: Get a free lunch entree from a special Veterans Day menu. Items include a 6-ounce sirloin steak, pork chop, and a pulled pork dinner.

TGI Fridays: The restaurant is offering a free lunch entree up to a $12 value between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Vets and active duty military members will also get a $5 coupon for a return visit.
