TWIN FALLS — The Times-News on Monday recognized a dozen companies in the Magic Valley for their work and services around their communities.
The businesses were invited to receive an award during a banquet at Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center. Each will also be featured in an upcoming special section.
“We believe that it’s really important to recognize all of the good that goes on in communities on the business side of things,” Idaho Power CEO Darrel Anderson told the Times-News.
Idaho Power Co. is one of the sponsors of the awards. Keynote speaker and Lt. Gov. Brad Little talked about how the Magic Valley relies on all types of businesses, as well as its partnerships, to succeed.
“You can’t have a Chobani if you don’t have all the other successful parts of the community,” he said.
Find stories about the award recipients Sunday in the Making it in the Magic Valley section in the Times-News, and at magicvalley.com. A gallery of the reception will also be posted online.
