Rock Creek Ranch outside of Hailey is a 10,400-acre working conservation ranch that is the subject of a new collaboration among the University of Idaho, The Nature Conservancy in Idaho and the Wood River Land Trust.

HAILEY — The final installment of the popular Sagebrush Saturday series is “Cowboy Days on the Range.”

It will take place Saturday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Rock Creek Ranch barn. The public is invited to enjoy this free educational event to try some cowboy coffee and learn the roles of cattle management and cowboys on Idaho’s iconic rangelands. Closed-toed shoes, long pants and hats are recommended apparel.

Rock Creek Ranch is a 10,400-acre working ranch and educational facility. It is owned and managed by the University of Idaho’s Rangeland Center, the Nature Conservancy and Wood River Land Trust.
