An example of Kat Cannell's landscape photography.

COURTESY PHOTO

KETCHUM — Kat Cannell’s photography exhibit, “Large Landscapes With a Micro Focus,” is on display at the Environmental Resource Center, 471 Washington Ave.

Cannell, a native to central Idaho, was inspired to create this exhibit after witnessing an increase in trash left behind along the trails and around campsites at high alpine lakes in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The exhibit will include collections of the micro-trash Kat collected in the SNRA and her photographs of the surrounding landscapes. Cannell’s art will be up at the ERC office from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, through mid-January.
