HAGERMAN — Regina Ann Murua, 72, a resident of Hagerman, Idaho was peacefully called home to be with her Heavenly Father Wednesday, March 7, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her family.
Regina was born March 15, 1945 in Wendell, Idaho the second born daughter of Claudio and Rita Murua. She was raised in Shoshone, Idaho where she graduated from Shoshone High School.
Throughout Regina’s life she enjoyed attending auctions with her friends and worked different roles in the auction business. She enjoyed attending yard sales and shopping second hand stores. Regina loved spending time working around her acreage and tending to her horse. She was an active member of the Republican Women. She was also an active member of the Gooding Basque Association and enjoyed attending Basque functions around the area. Regina was a social butterfly and never met a stranger. She had a great number of friends made throughout her life. Regina greatly enjoyed dancing which she is doing now with no pain.
Regina is survived by her daughter Tina (Kevin) Lakey of Gooding, brother Richard (Joan) Murua of Idaho Falls, son-in-law Bret Bulcher of Shoshone, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Regina was preceded in death by her infant sister, Maria; parents, Claudio and Rita Murua; and her daughter, Lisa Michelle Bulcher who passed six days before her mother.

The family would like to thank Alliance Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Regina in the final weeks of her life teamed with Stonebridge of Hagerman for the last two days of her journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Gooding Basque Center.
No services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service—Gooding Chapel.
