Old Navy

Old Navy sits open for business Dec. 19, 2017, in Twin Falls. The store was scheduled to close its doors at the end of January.

TWIN FALLS — HomeGoods has gotten its building permit to remodel the building formerly occupied by Old Navy.

In January, the city’s building department granted a remodeling permit for 2030 Bridgeview Blvd. for a new retail store, HomeGoods. The project has a valuation of about $1.2 million.

Woodbury Corp., the developer of the Canyon Park East shopping center, announced back in December that the retailer would be coming to Twin Falls this year. HomeGoods is a national chain of home furnishing stores and is owned by the same parent company as TJ Maxx.

The Twin Falls store will probably be opening in late summer or fall, a Woodbury Corp. spokeswoman previously told the newspaper.

The company itself, however, is giving nothing away.

“Although we appreciate your inquiry, HomeGoods has not announced a new store for Twin Falls,” spokesperson Lisa Zahn told the Times-News in an emailed statement.
