HEYBURN — The Mini-Cassia Transportation Committee will host a final design presentation at 7 a.m. Sept. 13 for the Interstate 84-Interstate-86 interchange project.
The meeting will be held at Connor’s Café, 135 S., 600 W.
The project will revamp the interchange that was designed and constructed in the 1960s. The project is needed because the bridge structures are aging, do not function well and have width restrictions, an Idaho Transportation Department statement said.
The presentation will cover the approach for the project and the timeline.
Construction on the project will begin this winter and conclude late fall 2019 and include the traffic control plan and short term detour.
