BURLEY — The Cassia Festival of Trees 40th holiday event “Cozy Christmas, a Season of Traditions,” will debut on Nov. 15 with a dinner and auction at the Oregon Train Recreation District gym.

The festival will run Nov. 16-18.

The event’s Premiere Opening will start at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. Cost is $15 and includes dinner, music, and silent and live tree auction. To purchase tickets call Megan at 208-300-0671 or email festivaloftrees@gmail.com.

The annual event raises money to provide scholarships for students going into healthcare careers and grants, which are given to local quick response units, search and rescue and used for other health care needs.
