Judith “Judy” Lorraine Ray, 64, of Springbrook, Wisconsin passed away on August 21, 2017.
She was born on April 10, 1953 in Palo Alto, California. Before retiring to Springbrook in 2012 with her husband, James ‘Rod’ Tannehill, they lived in Jerome, Idaho and she was native to the Bay Area for over fifty years.
She is predeceased by her parents, Rollin & Margaret Ray and her brother, Michael, of Saratoga, California.
Survivors include her husband Rod Tannehill; children, Kelly Detherow of Olathe, Kansas; Kristina (Todd) Giovannoni of San Jose, California; Kortney (Jon) Drake of Springbrook; Kyle Tannehill of Springbrook; her grandchildren Addison, Nolan, Will and Serafina, as well as one brother William Ray of Martinez, California; one sister Peggy Smith of Aptos, California and several nieces and nephews. Additionally, her pets: Shilo, Baby and Oreo (dogs).
Early in her career, Judy helped run her parent’s bail bonds business in Saratoga, California.
Judy’s personality was larger than life and lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel, beach destinations being her favorite. Her smile brought the best out in everyone and she was very proud of her family. She was always the root of a good time. Judy was known to be very generous and loving of her friends and family. She was quite an animal lover, loving and caring for all creatures big and small.
