OAKLEY — Two people were killed Saturday in a rollover crash 9.5 miles south of Oakley.
Dakota Glenn Cantu, 25, and Jared Anthony Taylor, 21, both of Burley, and William Paden Wells, 20, and Tyrell Jakob Smith, 21, both of Oakley, were headed north on Birch Creek Road when their pickup truck veered off the right side of the road and rolled in a curve, Idaho State Police said.
Cantu, Taylor and Wells were all thrown from the truck. Cantu and Wells died at the scene. Taylor and Smith were flown to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.
Police said it is unknown who was driving. None of them were wearing seat belts. The road was closed about five hours.
ISP is still investigating.
