BURLEY — Several Mini-Cassia public offices will be up for election this year including county commissioners, clerk of the district courts, assessors, treasurers and coroners.

Candidates in the Primary Election on May 15 will file a declaration of intent to run at their county courthouse from Feb. 26 until 5 p.m. on March 9.

In Cassia County, Commissioner Paul Christensen in District 1, who has a two-year-seat, will be up for reelection along with Tim Darrington, who holds a four-year-seat in District 3.

County Clerk Joe Larsen, Assessor Dwight Davis, Treasurer Patty Justesen and Coroner Craig Rinehart are all up for reelection.

In Minidoka County, Commissioner Robert Moore, who has a two-year seat, and Commissioner Sheryl Koyle, who has a four-year seat, are up for reelection.

County Clerk Tonya Page, Assessor Max Vaughn, Treasurer Laura Twiss and Coroner Lucky Bourn are all up for reelection.
