TWIN FALLS — Through May 1, the College of Southern Idaho will accept registrations for this summer’s Music Fest which runs June 11–15 at the CSI Fine Arts Center. It is a music day-camp for students ages 12-18.
Music Fest will be an opportunity for students to participate in many areas of music. They will get to interact with professional music educators from all over the state who are chosen for their expertise in music education. Students will choose a major — strings, vocal, musical theater, percussion, organ, piano — and spend significant time each day in classes related to that major. On the last evening of the camp, all students will perform in the Music Fest Concert.
Early-bird tuition is $195 prior to March 15 or $225 after March 15. This fee covers all program costs for the students, including instructional materials. Housing is available for those students wishing to home-stay with Twin Falls families. Other optional items such as photos, lunches and private lessons will also be available for an additional cost.
