TWIN FALLS — A Twin Falls woman is charged with heroin trafficking and four other felony charges after being arrested in an Idaho State Police sting operation.
Sara Dawnette Strout, 44, was arraigned May 14 on charges of trafficking in heroin, three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance, and possession of paraphernalia.
According to a police affidavit, Strout sold methamphetamine and heroin to an ISP confidential informant three times between November and January, two of those times directly.
She was arrested during a traffic stop on Jan. 10, when police found more meth and drug paraphernalia in her car.
Strout was jailed on a $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 25.
