TWIN FALLS — The Twin Falls Police Department is investigating reports of suspicious behavior near school bus stops.
Police have asked the public to help find two white men who were reported as attempting to entice children.
Tuesday, police received two reports of the men approaching children in the past week offering them rides to school.
The first incident was reported Thursday near Heyburn Avenue East and Teton Street, and the second was Tuesday near Sunrise Boulevard and Shoup Avenue East.
Both reports said the men were driving a white van.
Twin Falls School District officials notified parents Tuesday afternoon through its alert system. Parents can sign up to receive phone calls, text messages or emails.
The text message advises parents: “Talk with your student about personal safety.”
School district spokeswoman Eva Craner told the Times-News police are currently investigating and the information sent to parents is what police felt comfortable releasing.
Children should be taught to report similar behaviors to a trusted adults.
