TWIN FALLS — Twin Falls police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who attempted to rob the Phillips 66 on Addison Avenue on Christmas.

The suspect, a white male, entered the store just before 9 p.m. and demanded the cashier give him the contents of the register, authorities said. He left the store after the cashier refused.

At first, the clerk thought the attempted robbery may have been a prank and did not report it right away, according to statement from police.

A security video of the incident shows the suspect wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and glasses.
