TWIN FALLS — The Twin Falls County Commissioners last week voted to raise some fees for the sheriff's office, but Department of Motor Vehicles fees will remain the same.

A public hearing Nov. 3 was continued Thursday so the commission could receive additional information about proposed fee increases. Commissioner Terry Kramer said the county assessor's office withdrew its initial request to raise postage and administration fees at the DMV. It was determined there was sufficient funding, Kramer said.

The Sheriff's Office, however, will now charge $60 instead of $40 to deliver summons on behalf of a civilian or private attorney.
