GOODING — The Gooding Public Library Foundation has received a $1,000 Rural Community Grant from Northwest Farm Credit Services.
“We at the Gooding Public Library Foundation are excited to receive this Rural Community Grant,” Cindy Bigler, library director, said in a statement. “Funds will go toward the purchase of 3-D printers and laptops to enhance our Makerspace. This will allow us to serve our community in helping them learn CADD software and advanced technology skills — preparing them for future jobs, projects and schooling.”
The next rural grant deadline is June 1. If you think your rural project may be eligible for a grant, visit northwestfcs.com/Stewardship/Rural-Communities for more information and an application.
