TWIN FALLS • The Color Run is billed as “the most colorful day of your life” and when you see photos of similar events held around the country, it’s probably a valid claim.

The College of Southern Idaho’s physical education department is bringing the Color Run to Twin Falls on Saturday, Oct. 5.

It’s a non-competitive, non-timed 5K run/walk that will start at 9 a.m. at the CSI campus.

Each participant is urged to wear white or light-colored clothes. At four stations along the route, massive amounts of food-grade colored powder is launched onto the participants.

The objective is to get colorful and have fun.

The event is family friendly. Children age 8 and under can take part free of charge.

The entry fee is $35 per person. For groups of four or more, the entry fee is reduced to $30 per person.

Proceeds from the race will be used to help extend the Canyon Rim Trail.

For more information, contact Kimberlee LaPray in the CSI Gym at 208-732-6475 or klapray@csi. edu.

Participants are encouraged to sign up online at https://color4events.

The Color Run is also on Facebook.
