Kimberly Pena-Souza, 35, was sentenced Monday in a Twin Falls courtroom to three years of probation after pleading guilty to perjury in September.
Judge Randy Stoker suspended the sentence for Pena-Souza of four years prison with two years fixed, and ordered her to begin three years of probation on Monday, according to Twin Falls County 5th District Court records.
In their case against Souza, authorities wired the law office of attorney Lynn Dunlap with recording devices. Pena-Souza and stabbing victim Robert Barton allegedly offered to change their testimony for money in a criminal case against one of Dunlap’s clients, according to court records.
Pena-Souza says in court records that she “considered taking money to change my story on the witness stand.”
