SUN VALLEY — Fly Sun Valley Alliance and the Sun Valley Resort will co-sponsor Ski for Air Service Day — offering a full-day $50 lift ticket at the resort on Jan. 21. All proceeds will support air service to Sun Valley.
The $50-Ski-for-Air-Service-Day lift tickets went on sale at participating shops Wednesday and will continue through Jan. 20 — or until the limited number of tickets sells out. These tickets will not be for sale on Jan. 21. Purchases are cash or credit card only and not refundable. A 3 percent processing fee will be added to credit card sales. There is no limit to the amount of tickets an individual may purchase. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
The $50 lift tickets are for sale at the following ski and snowboard shops: Sturtevant’s in Ketchum and Hailey; Board Bin; PK’s Ski and Sports; PK Ski Rentals; Formula Sports; Four Mountain Sports at the Limelight Hotel; Ski Tek; Sun Valley Ski Butlers; and Elevation Sports in Twin Falls. Some of the participating shops will also be offering 50 percent off on demos and rentals for the day; several Sun Valley area lodging properties will have 50-percent-off special deals — making it an affordable ski-weekend for everyone. Proof of purchase of Ski-for-Air-Service-Day lift tickets must be provided to secure the ski/board and lodging-rental deals.
“Ski for Air Service Day has been a big success over the years, and we appreciate Sun Valley Resort partnering with us on this popular event. You can get a terrific deal on skiing Sun Valley while supporting our important air service initiatives,” Carol Waller, director of Fly Sun Valley Alliance, said in a statement. “As usual, we expect the tickets will sell very fast.”
