HANSEN — The High Desert Nordic Association will hold its annual dinner and moonlight ski Saturday at Magic Mountain Lodge, 28 miles south of Hansen. The group will have a potluck dinner at 6 p.m., with Dutch-oven cobbler provided. The price is $8 per person for the cobbler and use of the lodge.
The moonlight ski will begin at 7 p.m. You do not need to attend the dinner to ski, and no reservations are needed. One beginner’s group — with at least limited experience on cross-country skis — will go into the nearby campground, and a more advanced group will go on a more adventuresome route. With recent snowfall, there is good skiing; trails will be groomed by Saturday.
