Laura Sluder's lactating sheep wind their way to the new milking barn Thursday morning at Blue Sage Farm northwest of Shoshone, getting used to the new routine before actual milking begins. Because of recession-slowed buying, most of this year's crop of lambs will go to a feedlot, sold as live lambs instead of cuts.
