TWIN FALLS — Friends and family of the late James Moulson, a Jerome sheriff’s deputy killed in the line of duty in 2001, will host a dinner and wine tasting benefit.

The 16th annual event in his honor is noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29 at Rock Creek Restaurant in Twin Falls.

A no-host bar with appetizers begins at noon. A meal — including salad bar, prime rib, salmon, chicken, baked potato, brown rice and a dessert bar — will run from 1-5 p.m.

Other activities will include free wine tasting, entertainment by Brett Reid of Crossfire and raffle tickets sold for $10 each — or three for $20 — with a chance to win a Glock 9 mm pistol.

Proceeds will be used to benefit Magic Valley peace officers and for scholarships for CSI’s law enforcement students.

Tickets are $35 each and are available at Dick’s Pharmacy, Rock Creek Restaurant or from Bob Moulson at 208-731-0222.
