TWIN FALLS — Internationally-recognized chef John Ash will be in Twin Falls later this month to lead two classes at Rudy’s — A Cook’s Paradise.
A “Cooking Wild” class is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11. The cost is $80.
Ash released a book, “Cooking Wild” in May through Running Press. He’ll teach attendees how to “eat closer to nature,” according to an announcement by Rudy’s.
The evening’s menu will include hen of the woods mushroom tempura and ponzu sauce; chilled green pea soup with purslane; sable fish with tomatoes, pine nuts and olives; roast venison with blackberry sage sauce; and rhubarb galette.
Then, Ash will hold a different class the following night.
“The Marriage of Food & Wine” is slated for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12. The cost is $80.
Ash will lead participants in an aroma challenge to identify flavors, followed by a food and wine pairing.
