‘Prayers for All’
TWIN FALLS — If it is the first Saturday of the month, then it is time for “Prayers for All.” Sponsored by the Baha’i Faith, the event will be at 10 a.m. this Saturday at Max Newlin’s home, 328 Seventh Ave. E., Twin Falls. This month’s theme is “peace.”
Prayers from “Bhagavad Gita,” Buddhist Scripture, Christian Scripture, Jewish Scripture, the “Quran” and “Baha’i Prayers” will be read. Discussion will follow, without proselytizing and with respect for all viewpoints.

TWIN FALLS — Families and organizations are invited to attend the 25th anniversary celebration of the Magic Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 3 p.m. Sunday at 360’s Main Event Center, 348 Fourth Ave. S., Twin Falls. Come help honor the roots of MVUUF and Unitarian Universalism’s continued presence in the Magic Valley.

TWIN FALLS — The Episcopal Church of the Ascension will welcome the Rev. Lauren Schoeck and the Rev. Rob Schoeck for the first Sunday of their ministry in Twin Falls. The Schoecks recently served at St. James Episcopal Church in Lancaster, Penn.
This third Sunday of Lent will be observed with Holy Communion at 9 a.m. at the church, 371 Eastland Dr. N., Twin Falls. Nursery care for children younger than seven years will be available from 8:45 a.m. until after the service. A reception will be held for the new co-rectors following the worship service. Ascension Café, the adult discussion group, will not meet this week.
The knitting group will meet on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. — working on individual projects, prayer shawls for the Prayer Shawl Ministry or hats and scarves to donate to the community.
Thursdays in Lent continue with a short worship service of Compline at 6 p.m., followed by Soup Supper — a free-will offering will be appreciated. Lenten Study, “Wondrous Encounters — Scriptures for Lent,” will begin at 7 p.m. All are welcome for any part of the evening.
