TWIN FALLS — Danny Marona will host “A Mid-Summer Nights Roast” of retiring superintendent Wiley Dobbs.

Dobbs is retiring Sept. 1 after 14 years as Twin Falls School District superintendent. Proceeds from the event will go to the Danny Marona Performing Arts Scholarships, which has given more than $250,000 in scholarships to high school and college students over the past 10 years. Roasters for the night are Jeff Rolig, Tony Mannen, Brady Dickinson, Patti O’Dell and John Miller. The event will be on July 14 at the Canyon Crest Event Center. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m., dinner is at 7 p.m. and entertainment is at 8 p.m. Table or sponsored tables are available by calling 208-421-0418. Individual tickets be purchased at Kurt’s Pharmacy. Tickets include dinner, entertainment from this year’s top scholarship winners and the College of Southern Idaho Jazz Band.
