TWIN FALLS — The College of Southern Idaho Stage Door will present an original work created specifically for them by Flying Bobcat Theatrical Laboratory at 7:30 p.m. March 8 in the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium. “TBD: To be Derived … To Be Designed … To Be Determined … To Be Discussed … To Be Documented … Torpedo Boat Destroyer … To Be Devised” will attempt to deliver the perfect algorithm of Who To Be as we live under continual bombardment by social media, pop culture and the blessing/curse of instant access. Through devised narrative, movement and music, “TBD” will explore this volatile state of experimentation, metamorphosis and possibility.
Flying Bobcat is a theatrical laboratory dedicated to exploring the possibilities of storytelling in performance through language, movement, technology and design. The group is based in Salt Lake City and helmed by co-artistic directors Robert Scott Smith and Alexandra Harbold.
Tickets are: $10 adults, $5 CSI or high-school-and-younger students for individual performances; $60 adults or $30 students for season tickets — available by calling 208-732-6288 or by going to tickets.csi.edu or at the CSI Box Office or at the door. Seating is limited to 100 people.
