KETCHUM — Ketchum restaurant Konditorei and the Environmental Resource Center are teaming up this Earth Day.
ERC staff will be on-hand from 7 a.m to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Konditorei to share information about its educational programs and initiatives to a healthy environment.
Items on the menu will include earth-themed pastries, locally-roasted organic and fair trade coffee, and Idaho beer and wine. Konditorei is donating 10 percent of the day's proceeds to ERC.
“We are dedicated to the environment and sustainable practices,” said Matt Robinson, Konditorei’s manager. “We are thrilled to be partnering with ERC on Earth Day. It’s another way we can give back to the local community and such a wonderful organization.”
The environmentally-friendly restaurant strives to maintain sustainable practices in their daily and long-term operations. They offer coffee grounds to customers who wish to take them home for their soil, composting, recycling, and all their menus are printed on recycled paper.
