The Idaho Educational Services for the Deaf and Blind Foundation and the Idaho School for the Deaf and the Blind (ISDB) has partnered with CSI, Family Health Services, Pizza Pie Cafe and many other businesses to host the second annual Show Me the Money Disc Golf Tournament. The fundraiser will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, at the College of Southern Idaho’s Expo Park and Disc Golf Course in Twin Falls. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with tee off at 9 a.m.

The tournament will include an 18-hole four-person team scramble at the novice, intermediate and advance levels. There will a hosted lunch sponsored by Independent Meat and Scarrow Meat. CSI Challenge Course zip line rides will be available for an additional $10 each.

The foundation and ISDB’s After School Program are raising monies needed to support recreational activities and learning for those residential students with families beyond the Magic Valley campus. The After School Program, in addition to supporting students’ academic and athletic progress, invites the school’s deaf/hard of hearing and blind/visually impaired children to engage in lifetime fitness, leisure and recreational learning.

This year’s tournament funding will go to install concrete tees on the 9-hole disc golf course on the Gooding campus.

Registration: Four player team scramble, $100/team.
