TWIN FALLS — Jim Fort of Addison Photography has earned a photographic craftsman degree from the Professional Photographers of America.
The degree was presented to Fort by PPA President Rob Behm at the association's annual convention — Imaging USA — held Jan. 14-16 in Nashville, Tenn. Not merely a piece of paper, this degree means that Fort has met the standards of excellence set by the PPA. His service to the photographic profession as an orator, author and mentor has helped advance the photography industry. He was one of only 66 recipients this year.
This craftsman degree, and all the expertise it requires, illustrates Fort's accomplishments and talent as one of a select few. He is beginning his 24th year as a professional photographer. Fort and his wife Mary own and operate Addison Photography.
Almost as long-lived as photography itself, the Professional Photographers of America's roots date back to 1869. The nonprofit assists 30,000 members through protection, education and resources for their continued success in photography.
