LOS ANGELES • Southern California restaurants are now offering Chobani Greek Yogurt in their parfaits and McCafé smoothies.

The menu additions are part of a larger, regional effort by McDonald’s to regularly listen and respond to consumer feedback.

McDonald’s Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfait and McCafé Smoothies are now made with Chobani Non-Fat Vanilla Greek Yogurt. The smoothies and parfaits will be on the new Simple Delights menu.

“Today consumers are looking for choices and food customized to their taste. McDonald’s wants to be able to provide our guest with those options,” said Clay Paschen III, McDonald’s owner/operator and president of the McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California. “McDonald’s breakfast bowls and Chobani Greek yogurt offerings will stretch the range of fast food options, inviting customers to eat more foods when pressed for time.”

“We’ve always believed in democratizing better food and McDonald’s is a really powerful partner for us to do that with,” said Peter McGuinness, chief marketing and brand officer at Chobani. “By collaborating with McDonald’s in Southern California to provide their 800 restaurants with our Greek Yogurt, we’re proud to be part of their efforts in listening to what their customers are asking for and providing them with the food options that fit their lifestyle.”

Participating Southern California McDonald’s restaurants will offer McCafé Smoothies and Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfaits made with Chobani Greek Yogurt all day.
