BURLEY — SESVanderHave USA has hired Colton Mickelsen of Rupert for its U.S. research and development team.
As a regional research agronomist, Mickelsen joined the staff in Burley to manage yield trials and increased research seed productions that feed into the company’s U.S. hybrid development efforts. Mickelsen started with SESVanderHave on Dec. 1; however, he has been a full-time contract employee since March 2017.
Since 2011, Mickelsen has been actively engaged in farming operations in the region, including sugar-beet production, and has experience working with agriculture equipment. He has an associate degree in general education from BYU-Idaho.
