TWIN FALLS — Kathleen Hite has been hired as operations and finance coordinator for the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as the staff liaison to the agribusiness committee. Her first day was Jan. 8.
“I’m very excited for this new opportunity with the Twin Falls Area Chamber of Commerce and to continue working with the business community in the Magic Valley,” Hite said in a statement.
Hite previously managed the Jerome Chamber of Commerce. She was the assistant manager of the Southern California Fair until 2005 and managed the Jerome County Fair for 12 years. Her experience in bookkeeping and financial management will be valuable assets to the Chamber.
Hite was born and raised in Redlands, Calif. She moved to Twin Falls in 2005 with her husband, Robin Hite, and four children — Trevor and Brandon are in the Air Force; Sydney is in the Army; and Trent is a senior at Humboldt State University.
Hite loves the outdoors and is an avid competitor in endurance horse competitions — competing in 50-mile races.
