TWIN FALLS —The Center for Physical Rehabilitation recently announced two new hires.
George Vastola has been hired as the personal trainer for CPR's medically-oriented gym. He grew up in California and studied kinesiology at MiraCosta College. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Before moving to Idaho, Vastola was a personal trainer at Jackson Strength, where he did sport-specific training and injury prevention for athletes of all ages. He also ran a fitness boot-camp class for a local college.
Mandy Peerboom also recently joined the CPR team. She obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. Peerboom became interested in physical therapy from experiencing it herself after tearing her ACL/MCL playing basketball in high school.
She enjoys working with patients of all diagnoses and building connections with patients on their road to recovery. At this time, Peerboom has an interest primarily in orthopedics and plans to obtain board certification in orthopedic physical therapy in the future. She is now accepting new patients.
