TWIN FALLS | This summer, Chobani will release three new flavors of Greek yogurt products, developed and produced in its Twin Falls plant.
Products will be available in stores later this month, and will remain on shelves through the end of summer or while supplies last, the company announced Monday.
The Rio-inspired products will celebrate the upcoming 2016 Olympic and Paralympic games. The three limited-batch additions to its product line include guava and watermelon-flavored Greek yogurt, and a new Mango Passion Power “Flip” — featuring mango passion fruit-flavored yogurt with pie crust pieces and Brazil nuts.
Chobani also announced its roster of Team USA athletes it’s sponsoring for the Rio 2016 games. Team Chobani members include: 2016 Olympic hopeful soccer player Morgan Brian; men’s wrestling Olympian Jordan Burroughs; track and field Olympic hopeful Ashton Eaton; boxer and 2012 Olympian Marlen Esparza; track and field Olympic hopeful Allyson Felix; soccer player and U.S. Men’s National Team member Luis Gil; 2016 Paralympic hopeful para-cycler Allison Jones; soccer player and Olympic hopeful Alex Morgan; and Paralympic hopeful paratriathlon athlete Melissa Stockwell.
