BURLEY — The fourth annual Soil Health Workshop will be held in February.
The program will spotlight Gabe Brown, a pioneer of the current soil health movement. Brown — owner/operator of a diversified 5,000-acre farm and ranch in North Dakota — teaches the power of healthy, functioning ecosystems.
The free workshop will also include soil health specialist Marlon Winger, dairy nutrition consultant Shane Holt and University of Idaho Extension educator Joel Packham, who will provide pesticide instruction. A panel discussion with workshop presenters is also on the agenda, plus a meet-and-greet session to discuss local issues.
Lunch will be provided, but space is limited. Please call Doreen McMurray at 208-878-5556 or email her at email@example.com to register. McMurray will then provide time and location of the workshop.
